Memories of a once-thriving industry are preserved in these paintings of textile mill interiors by Janis Bowie. Evocative watercolours attempt to capture the light and airy atmosphere of the mill environment, whilst large acrylic works portray how the imposing structures of machinery dominate the mill setting.
