This year we are working with Calderdale Lighthouse – a voluntary run registered charity who are very passionate in ensuring that families and children in Calderdale who are most in need don’t go without. They work as a distribution service collecting and delivering goods for some of the most disadvantaged families in Calderdale. At this time of year they are busy sourcing gifts so that children and young people don’t go without a Christmas present.

The Piece Hall Welcome Centre will be a collection point from Friday 22 November – midday on Saturday 14 December and we are asking for your help!

We are looking for donations of unwrapped, unused or new gifts for tots to teens:

  • Toys
  • Games
  • Books
  • Teen toiletries
  • Pyjamas
  • Stationary
  • Selection boxes
  • Jigsaws
  • Sellotape
  • Wrapping paper

No toy guns or anything with batteries.

If you have any questions please contact the Welcome Centre on 01422 525217 or email

Thank you in advance for your help.
