PEOPLE PLAY PARTY 

 

Join us as we kick off People Play - a new sculpture commission and exhibition by Alice Irwin - with a good old-fashioned knees up. Families can play with puppets. shadows and light, and there will be live music from local band Drum Machine, incredible illuminations by Illuminos and food and drink – a free fun event for all the family. Family workshops include:

 

Wire Sculptures

Age 5+

Drop-in and create a free-standing wire sculpture with artist Frank Darnley inspired by the symbols, colours and shapes of Irwin’s work.

 

Pin Puppets and Shadow Play

All ages welcome

Drop-in and create a silhouette portrait, perform your very own show with handmade puppets and learn the enchanting art of hand shadows.
