Quadrabuild 20 October 2018 to 21 October 2018

20 & 21 Oct

Join Quadrabuild's Joe English for a weekend of stone carving at The Piece Hall.

Joe is a master stone mason who is hugely passionate about keeping our heritage alive through the craft of stone carving and sculpture. In November 2017, Joe was involved in a car accident which led to a complete spinal injury that left him paralysed from the neck down. Determined not to allow his disability to discourage his passion for stone work, Joe set up the charity Quadrabuild to raise awareness and help support others with spinal injuries through mentorships, home redesigns and grants for adaptations.

The event offers you an opportunity to have a go at the art of stone carving and enter an exclusive competition for the chance to win a unique carving that will last a lifetime.

An excellent selection of pop-up food and drink will feature alongside live entertainment to take you into the evening, and on Sunday afternoon there will be a special presentation and award ceremony to celebrate the carvers and valued sponsored.
