The event aims to attract over 30,000 visitors with its unique seasonal offer in a spectacular Christmas destination like no other.

We are pleased to announce the following traders are signed up with more names to come…

Many of the traders are returning for a second year including Loom & Bobbin…

“We sell wool blankets so we could not have asked for more once it started snowing at the 2017 Piece Hall Christmas Market. In fact, for sales it was our most successful market of the season, selling over 60 blankets. The setting was picturesque, the planning team had put together a beautiful festive show which I’m anticipating will be even better this year! We love The Piece Hall and everything it brings to Halifax!"

Around the Christmas Fair will be a range of further eating, drinking and shopping opportunities and entertainment. The Avalanche TiPi bar will provide the perfect place to warm up beside a roaring open fire to take a break and treat yourself to a delicious alpine inspired dish or beer. An array of street food will be served from some of our favourite pop ups with Yorkshire Grill, Good Grub Monkey, The Dosa, Proove Pizza and La Tradizione offering locally sourced sausages and burgers, grilled sandwiches, hand prepared beer battered fish and chips, authentic Indian dishes to wood fired pizza.

Hebden Bridge Brass Bands and West Yorkshire Police Brass Band will bring the courtyard to life playing by the Christmas Tree and classic carols will be sung by Overgate Hospice Choir, Calder Learning Trust Choir and Paul’s Signing Choir along with buskers and walk about performers to add to the festivities.

The popular Elves Christmas Workshops will be running for children’s festive craft activities with the Heritage & Learning team over the weekend, advance booking is advisable.

Visitors are encouraged to dwell and explore the selection of resident independent galleries, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants across the site, making this an unmissable festive weekend with treats and surprises to keep all ages entertained.
