Christmas at The Piece Hall 25 November 2017 to 31 December 2017
Christmas at The Piece Hall 25 November 2017 to 31 December 2017
A spectacular festival to celebrate the season

  • A grand Spiegeltent will take centre stage hosting a 16-day programme of sensational shows
  • The Christmas market will showcase Yorkshire makers selling unique gifts and treats
  • Christmas workshops will be run for families alongside special seasonal activities
  • The 30ft Piece Hall Christmas Tree will be the place to meet
  • Festive food and drink pop ups will continue the cheer throughout the day into the night
  • The New Year’s Eve Celebration will bring the whole site to life for a superb season finale

We'll have a 30ft Christmas tree in the courtyard where you can meet friends and family before browsing the festive market (3 - 10 December) to find that special gift from the array of Yorkshire makers and producers. Afterward you can warm up with a hot choclate or mulled wine in the Hygge Tipi

A well-travelled Spiegeltent will take centre stage from 15 December until New Years’ Eve, providing a very special venue for an eclectic showcase of storytelling, family shows, live music, stand-up comedy and late-night cabaret.

You might be thinking "what is a Spiegeltent?"

It is a 'mirror tent' - a spectacular round wooden structure from the Netherlands measuring 20 metres in diametre with a lavishly decorated inside with mirrors and glass and velvet. We think it is the perfect place for all your festive celebrations.
