In the latest Piece Hall Annual Review, you can read all about the events, activities and achievements the team worked on from October 2024 – September 2025.

This financial period saw The Piece Hall re focus on its core objectives with a comprehensive programme championing culture, community and commerce in this unique heritage site.

Importantly, The Piece Hall also saw a turnaround in its financial performance, posting a surplus of almost £357,000 in its accounts.

TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall 2025 was our biggest concert series to date and saw the building transform into a world class music venue welcoming more than 185,000 people.

Family and community events flourished at The Piece Hall in this year.

May 2025 saw a full weekend of celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, for the first time, a spectacular two-day motor show was held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our tenant Replicar and our second ‘Tractor Takeover’, held at February half term saw 20,000 people head to The Courtyard to see a collection of vintage tractors and farm vehicles.

November 2024 saw the biggest Christmas markets to date with six long weekends of festive shopping drawing in almost 275,000 visitors and The Piece Hall Gallery welcomed a number of art exhibitions, including two from Yorkshire creative legend Martyn Ware, one a European premiere.

The Piece Hall Academy continued to expand this year offering more young people in Calderdale unique opportunities and helping people achieve sustainable careers in music, performance, recording, production and live events.
