Situated on the West side of The Piece Hall, Halifax. The Wine Barrel takes its inspiration from the new wave of quirky independent wine bars and offers a vast selection of wine from all over the world. As well as offering wine from hallmark countries such as Italy, France, Australia, and the USA, customers will also find stunning delicacies from Moldova, Romania, Chile and more.

For those of you who are after something other than wine, they also have an extensive range of craft beers, gins, spirits and cocktails – along with a selection of coffees, cakes and sweet treats.

Whether you’re just simply watching the world go by or taking in one of The Piece Hall’s breathtaking events. The Wine Barrel is guaranteed to have the best view in the house overlooking the extensive courtyard!

From 1 June until 31 August The Piece Hall will be opening at the earlier time of 9am, seven days a week.

We’re hosting 35 shows and events over the next three months, but while things look a bit different in the courtyard all our independent shops are all open as usual.

The Piece Hall will close a little earlier at 4pm on show days so we can make final preparations for the evening gigs.
