Cinemateca Digital Filmmaking skills bootcamp

Are you passionate about film and storytelling? Whether you’re unemployed, employed, or self-employed, our free two week Digital Filmmaking Skills Bootcamp offers the opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain hands-on experience, and take your creative ambitions to the next level.

This fully funded programme is designed to bridge skills gaps and help people across Calderdale develop the technical and creative confidence to work in film and digital media.

Across the 10-day programme you will:

• Explore all stages of digital filmmaking — from concept and pre-production to filming, editing, and post-production.
• Hear directly from award-winning trainers and working industry professionals.
• Work collaboratively in a supportive, creative environment.
• Develop a career or business plan tailored to your goals.
• Gain access to a first interview or pitching opportunity with industry partners

You’ll take part in workshops and guest sessions with industry professionals, all designed to help you produce a short film.

Applicants must be 19 or over and residents of the Calderdale area. No previous professional experience is required – just enthusiasm, creativity and the drive to learn.
