The Piece Hall
Halifax Urban Trail
The Piece Hall is one of the key locations for the very first Halifax Urban Trail this April.
Starting at Shibden Hall, around 500 people will be running through Halifax’s greatest buildings and landmarks.
Runners travel through from the home of Anne Lister – ‘Gentleman Jack’, along tracks and paths to Beacon Hill, the viewpoint high over the town of Halifax.
And then, having descended into the heart of the town, they’ll discover some of Halifax’s most iconic landmark buildings… including Halifax Minster, the Borough Market, Town Hall and Dean Clough Mills, by actually running through them.
If you aren’t taking part, grab your spot in The Courtyard to watch this historic event!
And it’s all to help raise funds for our local Calderdale hospice, Overgate, which is fundraising for its very ambitious new building project.
