The first headline show for Live at The Piece Hall 2027 has been confirmed as two of the UK’s most beloved singer-songwriters.
Chart toppers James Morrison and Jack Savoretti are teaming up next summer for a double-header tour which lands in Halifax on Friday 18 June.

Twenty years into his career, You Give Me Something hitmaker James Morrison’s music still simmers with the soul, emotion and quiet authority that have defined one of the UK’s most enduring singer-songwriters.
Across that time, he has amassed millions of global sales including two UK number 1 albums, five UK Top 10 singles, multiple platinum releases and a BRIT Award. Last autumn saw him achieve his highest chart position in 14 years with his seventh album, the Top 5 Fight Another Day.
Marking 20 years since his debut album Between the Minds, this year has seen Savoretti make a bold return to his musical roots, with the release of his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were.
The record finds Savoretti reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic soul that defined his earliest work, while further cementing his position at the forefront of British songwriting.

General Admission – Access to general courtyard area.
Balcony – Fast track entry with access to covered balcony areas with upper-level viewing with exclusive access to the private balcony bar & separate toilets.
Live at Lounge – A VIP area with access to a private bar and toilets, balcony views of the stage, plus a DJ until late post show. Includes fast track entry to the venue, a welcome drink plus a souvenir lanyard.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Doors open 6pm. Last entry is 8pm. The event will finish by approximately 10.30pm.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult, and under 6s will not be permitted at the event.
