Richard Ashcroft is headliningTK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall 2024.
The two-time Ivor Novello winner (Songwriter of the Year in 1998 and Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 2019) who has released five Top 5 solo albums, including his chart-topping debut Alone With Everybody plays our iconic courtyard on Friday 2 August.
He first came to attention with The Verve, releasing one of the biggest albums of the era in the shape of Urban Hymns, which sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, as well as a succession of anthems which remain staples of his live set today, including The Drugs Don’t Work, Bittersweet Symphony, Lucky Man and Sonnet.
His most recent album, Acoustic Hymns, was released in 2022 and reached Number Two in the UK Album Chart.

Balcony Ticket – Access to upper covered balcony level with exclusive access to bar.
The Live at Lounge – A private VIP area with exclusive access to bar and toilet facilities and covered Live at Lounge top floor balcony with a panoramic view of the stage and courtyard. Includes fast track entry to the venue, a welcome drink (prosecco, beer or mocktail), and canapés. Plus, a souvenir lanyard. Our specialist hospitality hosting service will look after you throughout the evening.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Doors open 6pm. Last entry is 8pm. The event will finish by approximately 11pm.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult, and under 6s will not be permitted at the event.
