Celebrate International Women’s Day the WoWY way: by giving, gaining, and lifting one another higher.
Join the Women of West Yorkshire (WoWY) Network as they mark International Women’s Day in the Caygill Rooms.
This networking event will open with remarks from the Mayor and the Inclusivity Champion, before moving into an informal, welcoming space where WoWY members can explore, mingle, and take part in a skills‑exchange marketplace designed for women, by women.
Rather than formal presentations, the heart of this gathering is you – your strengths, your passions, and the everyday skills that help women lift each other up.
Members will be encouraged to:
- Share a skill they’re proud of (professional, creative, practical, lived‑experience based-anything goes!)
- Pick up something new from fellow members
- Connect with women from across the network in a relaxed, supportive environment
- Celebrate the diverse talents that make the WoWY community so powerful
This event is about celebrating women’s skills in all their forms, big or small, polished or emerging, and giving space for WoWY members to shine, learn and grow together.
Complimentary refreshments on arrival including tea, coffee and fresh juices, and light catering provided.
