LATPH 2026 Key Dates & Info
As we transform this stunning heritage site into an award-winning music venue ready to welcome you, our audience, to watch globally renowned musicians, things will look a little different here at The Piece Hall.
Stage Build
Monday 18 May – Friday 5 June: The centre of The Courtyard will be cordonned off while the stage is constructed.
For the safety of visitors, South Gate will be closed each day until 7pm until Monday 25 May.
Please note: the fountains will be turned off to enable the construction of the stage and accessible viewing platform, used by our ticket holders with disabilities and additional needs.
Road Closures
Closed until Monday 7 September: Blackledge, Cross Street, Thomas Street
Closed on show days only from 4pm: Horton Street, Square Road, Union Street,Alfred St reet East
Independent Businesses
Our brilliant independent shops, cafes and bars are open 7 days a week all summer and would love to see you!
The businesses close just a little earlier at 4pm on gig days to allow us to prepare the building for show, including security measures, before we reopen for ticketholders at 6pm.
Entry Times
In line with most UK events, increased safety and security requirements mean that Live at The Piece Hall has a last entry time of 8pm.
The Piece Hall has a duty of care to everyone in the venue, including staff, audiences and artists and takes all necessary measures to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
Music on some nights starts as early as 6.30pm and we would strongly encourage gig goers to come along and support the opening acts, who often have local connections.
The event team monitor roads and public transport closely and adjust procedures accordingly for optimum security and will always work with ticket holders who find themselves with exceptional circumstances.
Anyone with a late entry request should email info@thepiecehall.co.uk
