Having spent a year away from the spotlight, Simply Red now announce details of a very special UK and European headline tour for 2027 – including an unmissable date at The Piece Hall, Halifax
The ‘Summer Funk ‘27’ tour will see Mick Hucknall and the band play a unique high-energy set, bringing good times and a celebratory atmosphere throughout the sun-kissed summer months.
Joined by UK soul and funk legends Soul II Soul, Simply Red head to The Piece Hall on Monday August 9.

General Admission – Access to general courtyard area.
Balcony – Fast track entry with access to covered balcony areas with upper-level viewing with exclusive access to the private balcony bar & separate toilets.
Live at Lounge – A VIP area with access to a private bar and toilets, balcony views of the stage, plus a DJ until late post show. Includes fast track entry to the venue, a welcome drink plus a souvenir lanyard.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Doors open 6pm. Last entry is 8pm. The event will finish by approximately 10.30pm.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult, and under 6s will not be permitted at the event.
