Selling new and used vinyl records across all genres, music artwork, influenced by seminal bands, iconic shows and albums, Loafers is a haven for music lovers.

Owners Mark & Sarah Richardson are long-time lovers of records & offer locally roasted Darkwoods Coffee, tea, soft drinks, Vocation Brewery craft ales, locally sourced wines, spirits & snacks.

They also curate & host live music events from intimate instore shows, Northern Soul DJ sets & gigs in collaboration with larger venues across Halifax.

Over the coming weeks, The Piece Hall may look a little different as our historic courtyard is transformed once again into the spectacular open-air arena for TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall. While work is taking place, the South Gate entrance may be temporarily closed at times, so please use our other three entrances when visiting. Our shops, bars, cafés, restaurants and heritage spaces all remain open and trading as usual throughout the build period.
